Tutoring & Homework Help
Signs your student may benefit from tutoring &/or homework help
Having difficulty in one or more subject areas
Unable to correctly complete homework assignments independently
Instructors will work with your child individually on the work that s/he brings to the Center. An Academic Assessment is not needed to begin this program, but may be recommended if instructors discover learning difficulties that could be remediated using our other programs.
As we work with your student, parts of the AIM (Academic Independence Management) Program may be used to help your student become a stronger learner.
Students must commit to a regular tutoring schedule. If the student does not have work to bring on the days they are scheduled, instruction will shift to more generalized instruction that could include study skills, note-taking, test-taking, organization, effective planning, goal setting, etc.
